Background
A former college football player turned male model, "Sexy" Rex Mistry was the guy everybody wanted to be. He dated the cheerleaders, he was the popular kid, and when he left college he decided to take it easy and make money having people take pictures of him not wearing much. Like everything else he turned out to be pretty good at that too.
So imagine his surprise when the aliens arrived. Suddenly the celebrities weren't the models or the star QBs. It was all about X-COM. Supermen like Jack Corbey and Carl Powers were the people everyone was talking about. It started off as a minor annoyance to Rex, but he finally realized just how much the tables had turned when the bugs arrived in Milan. Rex was there doing a photo shoot with supermodels when the city was subjected to a terror attack. In the span of a few seconds he went from being Mr. Popular to a gibbering pussy who had pissed himself. He thought he was going to die until X-COM showed up.
Rex signed up the next day.
